The Lotus Notes 8.5 client is supported by WorkplaceControl for
Notes starting with this release.

|
Workspace Icon Positioning has been added. Icons can be
positioned on specific workspace pages with specified tab and
coordinates. This action can also be combined with the 'add icon to
workspace' action, to ease new workstations setup.

The values of the notes.ini file can now be shown in a view.
Audited for specific values or for lacking specific values is
available. In prior releases the notes.ini file was only available
as attachment.

Enhancement
|
Mail addressing on a location document for notes 7.0 or higher
has been extended with the value "Server then Local" which was
introduced with Lotus Notes 7.0.

The option "close the notes client" has been re-enabled for
notes client 8.5. This action was broken on Notes 8.0 Standard
(eclipse) clients, due to internal coding of IBM. It has been fixed
in the Lotus Notes 8.5 gold release.

|
On a Lotus Notes 8.0 client the system variable <Desktop
File> returned desktop8.ndk instead of desktop6.ndk, this has
been fixed.

appointments in minutes" threw an error. This has been fixed.
