When using the mail based module, actions are send out by
e-mail. The user simply needs to open the message (auto execution
is also possible with a minor adjustment of the mail template) and
new settings are a fact. When required, actions can be specified to
run within a time frame. After execution, WorkplaceControl
returns logging on the progress and results of the actions.
Policy
based:
When using the policy based module, Lotus Notes clients check
and enforce new settings at every startup of the Lotus Notes
client. WorkplaceControl Policies extends the enforcement of
settings which are partly supported in the Lotus Domino Policies
Audit possibilities
WorkplaceControl offers a large variety of options for remote
control. System administrators can perform quick and easy audits of
the workstations. Need an overview of disk space available or
installed software on the various workstations? Grab local files
from the workstation, like the notes.ini, the User ID file or any
