Mail based Management
The WorkplaceControl for Notes mail module enforces Lotus Notes
Client settings by sending new settings by mail. The
administrator uses a wizard to compose an action script
within WorkplaceControl. These scripts are sent to the users by
Notes mail. When the user opens the mail containing the actions,
the script runs automatically.By modifying the mail template the
settings can also be applied when the users opens the mail
file.
After execution, a report containing the event log will be
returned. The report can be sent as a text file to the admin
mailbox or can be stored in the included Audit Repository database.
This database offers powerful features to view and access the
information returned from the user's workstation. WorkplaceControl
complies with the Lotus Notes security model (ECL dependent).
WorkplaceControl has all the actions you need to quickly and
simply update your Lotus Notes clients. Ranging from workspace
icons, bookmarks and replication pages to locations, connections
and notes.ini values.

Architecture
No additional software is needed on the Lotus Notes clients to
start using the WorkplaceControl mail module. A stored form is used
to deliver the action definitions and execution code to the end
user. The stored form can preliminary be added to the mail
template, to decrease action memo size or stop the need of a
stored form.
Evaluation software

of our product for a limited number of users. After downloading and
